What are some opportunities for volunteers?

These programs are offered as a service to our community.  It is our vision to connect local artists with those citizens who would be inspired and eager to learn from them.  Volunteers are reimbursed for all classroom materials and for mileage when appropriate.

Haven of Hope support group for battered women
Impact the lives of local women in crisis by providing an enriching arts activity for them that helps them to learn healthy ways to cope, heal or de-stress. This class is held once per month.

Kids Count support groups for abused children
Art projects for children so they can feel empowered and proud of something that they have created.  Classes are held once per month for three different age groups - K-2, 3-5 and 6-8 grades.

Senior arts programming
Work with area seniors who would otherwise have limited access to self-expression and the arts.  Many are surprised to discover they have a talent they never knew about!

Farmer's Market, Earth Day, and other "tent" events
Develop projects for community wide events

"Free Art" Days
Free art classes offered at
ArtReach for families with children.  Parent supervision is required for children under age 14.  Topics
will vary.

There are many opportunities for you to become involved and share your passion for the arts with our community.  Your involvement truly makes a difference!
