Current ArtReach Programming
Kids Count Abused Children’s Program
ArtReach provides art experiences for abused children from pre-school through high school. We meet with three different age groups every month and develop projects that are designed to reinforce Kids Count themes of personal and community values.
Youth Outreach
At-risk students from middle school and high school meet on a periodic basis to create art as a form of self-expression. They learn art concepts while working with a variety of materials, often in day-long settings.
Senior Programs
ArtReach brings an opportunity for creating original artwork to
Seniors residing at Deer Crest, Seminary Plaza, Seminary Home,
Hi-Park at St. Brigid’s, Potter’s Ridge and Jordan Towers. Classes vary and offer a chance to work with many diverse mediums for life-long learners.
Haven of Hope
ArtReach meets monthly with women from Haven of Hope, offering the residents an art experience in a casual and relaxed setting, providing an opportunity for creative expression and to foster strength, hope and self-confidence. Concurrently, we provide a fun project for the children residing at the shelter.
“ALF” Program for Pre-Schoolers
“Art, Learning and Fun” is a pilot program
for children ages 3 to 5 residing at the
Haven of Hope who are affected by domestic
violence. ArtReach will provide art
activities designed to help heal the “emotional
brain.” This program will help children change
their perception of the world around them
through fun art activities in a safe environment
and foster growth in other areas, such as motor
skills and socialization.

As more Americans live up to 100 and beyond, they're increasingly staying active and taking up the Arts.
Our purpose is to encourage individual awareness and growth.

The inside of the Gods Eye is black because it was a very lonely time in my life.
The next color is red because it was a very turbulent time in my life.
The next color is yellow and that is where I am now looking into the future.
The last (outside) color is white because my future will be bright.

Intergenerational Programming
ArtReach is developing programming to combine our work with Seniors in the community with middle-school students, to create intergenerational art pieces that will promote education, understanding, awareness, and appreciation between these groups, and out into the community at-large.
Outreach to the Community: ArtReach participates in many community festivals/events throughout the year, including the Red Wing Arts Association Fall Festival, The Diversity Festival, The Farmer’s Market, Anderson Center Children’s Book Fair and Art Fair, and Earth Day Celebration Event.
